Was confronted with this at the bus stop last night.....

"Australia's biggest socialist festival" Sorry, Graham, but a good reason to avoid Melbourne next Easter!

And please folks, no complaints about this being a political post  ::)

I think I better head north, hopefully FNQ will have an early end to the wet season. If not will have to look elsewhere.

Is this a dig at me?

As it's been a bit quiet Down Under of late, I thought it was time to show-and-tell my local bus stop as it was when we walked the dogs this morning:

We've had a bit of rain lately! It's all the fault of the water company who said we needed 3 months of constant rainfall to make up for the very dry spring and summer. And who don't clear out the drains very often...

Cheers,

Chris

Glad I wasn't sitting at the stop just then!  :worried:

Just on a technical note, did you somehow get rid of the number plate, Chris, or did some software automatically do it?

Not the local bus stop, but....

Seeing as Chris reckons it's been a bit quiet down under lately, it's because Bealman is in Adelaide:

Brighton Beach pub, where a couple of Cooper's pale ales were partaken of.

Nice to see Adelaide City Council thought that planting palm trees upright in the ground like the rest of the sane world was a good idea   :D

Bealman

Yeah, not like bloody Wollongong City Council who think palm trees should be on top of a pole or lying on their side through a hole in a chunk of sandstone  :veryangry:

Your mission, Bealman, if you choose to accept it....

Face to face with the reason we're in South Australia... look after the little fella while Bealette returns to work!

Only til next Thursday, and we're actually staying in a hotel in Adelaide CBD over the weekend as Bealette isn't working then, so it's not too bad. Just a few days away, really.  :beers:

Not the best view in the world, but...

It has a pool, which pleases Mrs B, even though it's raining and freezing!
