Had one recently telling me my TV license payment had been refused. We pay cash onto a card when we go shopping. Nice try though as I haven't had one of those before.

with monthly tv licence payments,....the first year you start you pay double each month for the first 6 months--then single monthly payments from then on. That way--you are always 6 months in credit.

I keep getting them from PayPal telling me my account is suspended, I've had a few of the tv licensing ones, and I've had a few dvla ones too.

Cheers, Timmo

Likewise. I checked my Spam box yesterday and there were 15 of 'em.
Just checking the senders address shows they are spam.

I've had a few of the TV licence ones too, I don't have a TV, there are two possible acronyms that can be applied that we used in the RAF

LTU action = Laugh and tear up

WPB action = Waste paper basket

However it would seem we need a more appropriate one for emails as there's no paper to tear up, one possibility springs to mind

RCB action = Recycle bin action?

The alternative that we used at work was to file them in the round filing cabinet  ;)

File B1N  :hmmm:

reminds me of when I asked the IT guys at work to sort out a problem on my laptop ...

gave it back the next day, sorted

"what was it ?" I asked

"just an ID 10 T fault "

walked off chuckling  :hmmm:

ask one of the other IT guys
"what's an ID 10 T fault ?"

he laughed, and said, "write it down"

:hmmm:
