Worsley Works do the sides in 2mm scale, not sure if they fit Farish bulleid stock though, very tempted to order some though, would need to be the rebuilt version in plain green, they were rebuilt/repainted quite early on in the 1950s as far as I can find out. I have some spare Farish Bulleids so donor coaches at the ready!

The tavern cars were somewhat slated for their tiny windows and dark dingy interiors they were rebuilt very early on for those reasons and the mock Tudor finish was lost at that time.

Not with the "library" right now but have a book with some very detailed descriptions of these cars and their flaws

Yep. As a worker on the Romney back in the 70s/80s I mastered the art of sitting without resting on the back of the seat - no spillage that way :-)

were they the forerunners of the one Farish did, the nightcap bar iirc, though that was a mk.1 as I remember.

I didn't try that hence at the end of my bumpy journey I had few beer stains on my jeans!
