this is bound to have been discussed before, but i need to know how to wire it up for my layout setup...

i am DCC, so i have coming from the controller the track feeds, simple.

i then have a seperate gaugemaster transformer, one side feeding the control panel for the point motors, the other straight to my LED xmas tree.

so my question is.

what is the best to light up my buildings, to look best in a winter scene, then how do i wire them up?

i would like to be able to switch them on and off really for daytime/ nightime effect.

i also need to include working station lights, so which ones should i use and again how do i add them in?
