Back in 1976 a Freightliner (FGA/FFA) 3 set was used to transport trial loads of combine harvesters from the New Holland/or International Harvester factory at Aylesbury to Compiegne in France via the train ferry. The wagons used were formerly part of the small fleet used for the London to Paris container service. The trials were managed by the London (LMR) Railfreight team and I am hoping I can track down some of the photos taken at the time.

Thought it might make an interestingly different load for a container wagon set.
