Well, it started well, sunny, cool breeze, and mad husky found a spaniel in the fields who wanted to play chase

then, when we got home, postie had been, and had left my parcel from Rails of Sheffield in my safe place, and the note in the post box.

all was going well, until I went in the front door with post and parcel in hand to find ......

SWMBO in the hall

"what's that you've got there ?"

"oh, you know, the usual rubbish" :-[

"Rubbish doesn't usually come in a box. It's from Hattons, isn't it, more trains ?"

"NO", well it wasn't from Hattons, it was from Rails  :)

it sort of went downhill from there ......

but it is a lovely evening,
to be sitting out here in the shed,
with a wee dram  >:D

That's the beauty of running your own property maintenance business.

"Oh, it's spare blades, brushes, sandpaper, locks, handles, lamps, fittings, switches, tool spares, etc., etc.,"

But it's never model stuff.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

You get to sit in the shed, doing what you want and having a drink - that's a winner isn't it?

A parcel from Hattons arrived the other day while no-one was at home.

At least I presume it's from Hattons, the postie wrote "From Mr. Customs Declaration" on the missed delivery slip.
