Philip.

One of the upsides of being furloughed is I'll get to watch some live Cricket this summer  :D

The squad has just been announced for the first Test on Wednesday 8th July https://www.skysports.com/cricket/news/12173/12020825/dom-bess-picked-as-englands-spinner-in-13-man-squad-for-first-west-indies-test

I reckon the team will be

1 Burns
2 Sibley
3 Crawley
4 Denly
5 Pope
6 Stokes
7 Buttler
8 Bess
9 Broad
10 Archer
11 Anderson

Just hope the weather's good  :smiley-laughing:

Yes, I'll be watching but, being retired, I would anyway  :D

Not a bad shout but for me maybe Leach ahead of Bess.

Plus, sooner or later, it's time to think about a replacement for Anderson I suppose.
I'll get round to fixing it drekkly me 'ansome.

Philip.

Would love to see Wood and Archer bowling in tandem, and Woakes was a toughie to leave out.

Not being a Sky fan (for that, read 'tight wad') I'll have to pick up any scraps on Ch4 if they show it.

Someone once said "if you want rain, arrange a cricket match" and true to form, the forecast for the first day at Southampton is bobbins  ::) ::)

Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

Like Nobby I'm too mean to stump up for Sky but will be glued to TMS on the Beeb, although it won't be the same without Blowers

Philip.

No Broad, bit of a shocker, should be good seeing Archer and Wood though

Didn't see much of Sibley though  :'(

Bobbins - that' be right propur  word down yer.
It do mean Rubbish.

Hope that our weather Isn't heading due East. It's been raining since about 6 this morning despite the Met office saying less than 10% chance of rain.
