I may appear to be listening to you, but inside my head, I'm playing with my trains.

You're right Mr. Splod. This is the happy 😊 thread. I am now quietly chuckling to myself and praying for divine inspiration in order to translate your utterings into some semblance of sense within the context of human understanding while my missus phones the shrink for additional assistance.
I am 😊 so happy 😊 to have posted again on the happy 😊 thread. :'( :D :claphappy:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Nice one jon and good luck with your inhaler. Looking on the bright side I have seen a nurse today who told my blood test was good, my pulse is good, I do not have diabetes. They do not send for me because I am not on the serious/critical illness list, I have Chrones disease and prostate problems so need to be monitored in case of cancer of both has if that is not enough. Always look on the bright side of life............

I am still here........hooray.....

After whinging in the angry thread about having tools nicked a couple of months back, I am happy to report that the insurance company came good and I have just filled up the car with a brand new kit.

Have you changed the lock on the garage door and fitted alarms and remote machine guns?
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Bealman

:laughabovepost: Actually the garage door is going to be changed so it is more secure.

The machine guns maybe not..... I'm having too much fun opening up me new gear!

After a four and a half hour download  I have successfully updated my iMac operating system to Sierra!

Now I can get around to installing RailModeller Pro and finally start to plan my first layout properly. I'm intending it to be a Swiss Alpine theme, though my modelling skills are, shall we just say, not brilliant and last practised many moons ago. But I'll enjoy trying to recreate memories of that wonderful country and its superb rail network.

Happy days! :)

Received my first 4 sound chips. now to fit them, first up is the green Deltic I bought from D-A-N in the N'emporium. followed by both driving cars of  the Midland Pullman and a Duchess. the other 8 locos will have to wait a few months.

My Dr called   here yesterday and agreed that hospital  would do me harm rather than good and is 'exploring' the idea of oxygen for me to have as a  stand by at home and I'm not in quite as bad a way as we were  afraid of  also taught me how to avoid using endless amounts of ventolin and breath through 'air shortages'

That's good news, Jon.
There's no dignity appreciated in hospitals (or decent nosh )

:claphappy:i feel like an addict who has come off a drug.  in the last 48 hours Ive not taken 1 dose of ventolin and although gasping quite a bit at times am coping with things.

Get the doc to explore faster.  Sounds like you need oxygen supplement.
Don't cold-turkey on the ventolin; use it when your body tells you so, not your mind.

Wot's wrong with hospitals?  Great places to pick up weird bugs. :)
