Evening all,

I added the following to my collection whilst at TINGS!
- A Farish Midland Signal box (Split from the Cumbrian Pack)
- Farish Midland 4F from the Bachmann Stand (Purchased at half 9, sound fitted by 10am on the Saturday!)
- Farish Green Wasp 08 from the Bachmann Stand (the one usually available in the set)
- 3 Hawksworth Coaches (delivered to me on the Sunday morning having come from Rails)
- A Dapol 45XX Prairie courtesy of Portland-Docks
- A selection of Modern Oxford Vehicles
- A BT Models BR Van and a GWR Toad (not pictures) courtesy of Chris.

I may have to give it a few months before buying anything else!

Cheers,

Ollie

New addition to the collection, old-style Farish Pullman.  I like these old coaches, now I've got two brakes I need to get some parlour cars.

Amongst other things I picked up a BR blue "Canadian Pacific" bodyshell and tender top as I'm quite taken with the BR blue steamers. £10 for both :)

I swapped it onto the chassis from my British India Corp engine (both Merchant Navy class)

I never knew Rails did personal deliveries, Ollie, especially on a Sunday. How much did that cost? ;)

I have a few of these (more than I should) the problem is justifying them on a LMS period secondary line

I recently received a couple of things.
1. a container loader vehicle

the black bits need to be glued on yet, it's quite fiddly so I'm just checking they go in place first!

Alo got this second hand with no bits but basically brand new dcc ready

It looks a bit pale and flat for a 4CEP  :hmmm:

As an early birthday present,a Cumbrian Mountain Express set fro my good lady and a faulty Peak from TINGS (very cheap)

Hard to believe just how good these new Farish steamers are...

I USE TACKY WHITE GLUE FOR THIS ( and do it in a plastic bag - the parts are very springy!)

Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind;

Three Dapol weathered milk tankers found in the second hand cabinet at my local model shop.  Since I'd been talking with people on here about milk trains I decided it was meant to be.

I resisted the second hand Dapol Hall but I don't think I'll be able to hold out for long...

Resistance is futile, John!

I'm lucky to have 2 Halls, Hinderten and Helmingham.

I've got a BR, late crest Dapol Hall - Cranmore Hall - but I'd like something with post-war GWR livery to pull my Graham Farish Hawksworth coaches.  If the GWR Hall is still there in a week or two, once I've been paid, there will be no resistance.

My car boot find this morning 1 LNER & 3 LMS 4 wheeled coaches all for an extortionate price of £2 for all 4 of them  :D :D :D
