OOOOhhh YUCK look at the horrible livery this poor locomotive is in (I can hear the BR boys massing to get me already  :P). Its the latest addition to the locomotive fleet, but it wont be long before it appears in a proper decent livery, I'm thinking post war lined black.

I might start a charity to protect the pointless suffering of poor engines when they are forced to wear such liveries   :'( :'(

Hang on a minute I have just created another project for myself, not good  ???

I never used to like green steam locos, never mind the shade of green, and always had a soft spot for Crimson Lake.  But I do think that loco (Jubilee? Sorry, I'm not good at identifying locos on sight) looks good in green.  Still, I'm sure it will look just as good, or even better (depending on your prejudice) after your repaint.

I'm trying to resist the Graham Farish Jubilees in my local model shop; seeing your picture doesn't help my resolve ;)

Splash the cash and but one or two, or even three, I have 3 Crimson ones already but like the Post war black livery, plus it will match my Original Patriot in that livery if I ever finish it.

Having seen 'Leander' in black I am of the opinion Jubilees should only be seen in Crimson or Green :nerner:

Custom paints?? I don't recognise the loco livery?
Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind;

As far as know it the NER made four ambulance trains for WW1 use, which were painted out in khaki, but research is a bit difficult with the lack of photographs

Every time you post on the forum your layout looks tidier and a bit more added  ,not sure if a class 20 would be pulling those wagons but if your anything like me  its Rule One .Nice video clip .

They were the wagons that were already sitting on the main line so I just used them, as you say I am a firm believer in rule one but I suppose I should have got some 4 wheel stock out of the storage lines really. :hmmm:

Are they a DCC Concepts set?

I have a number of locos (steam and diesel) that could do with a run while I'm (taking an age) building the new layout and soon not to have the space for even a small test loop.

I'm just a bit confused if you'd really need and Active and a Passive set. A bit expensive if you need both.

Ooooh new NSE MK2.....

Something else I can't have....

Anyway, I did radio back into base camp and get permission to get these two (cos the authority to be always says "if it is going to get rarer and / or more expensive, get it now").
