A bargain purchase from a local show. £10 for the lot!

Most of these look to have never run, many I suspect have never come out of the box.

That is indeed a a bargain. I'd have paid 10 quid for the Oxford Scammell alone!

Postage would be £6.75 providing I could keep the weight below 200g. Unless these are crazy expensive in Oz it would make it one very expensive vehicle.

I had to have this as soon as I saw it even though I had to  join the Bachman collectors club to get it - the first wagon came with the collectors club paraphernalia

And it runs as good as it looks :heart2:

Those Micky Mouses (Mice?) are lovely locos and lovely runners. That's why I've got a green one and a black one - even though they never went anywhere near the southern!

Not like you to do Rule 1 though, Alex!

As an operator with a mainly Poole-built and only slightly later Farish stable of DCC conversions, I've just taken delivery of a Graham Farish sound-fitted Ivatt 2MT. Until now, I've only ever heard DCC sound on videos, but I took a punt (and some extra dollars!) to see what it was like. I'm now totally won over - particularly with the Farish implementation using the zimo sound controller. Straight out of the box and it runs so beautifully.
You can see and hear it here, as I was running it in:

Notwithstanding the outstanding detail (I have yet to attach the steps and footplate supports) or give it a light weathering, what I really also like is the amazing slow running and the brake key (F2), which I wasn't expecting, but means I can operate the loco in a really realistic manner.

So, all in all, I am very, very pleased with my purchase. Grafar providing a fitted sound solution is an absolute winner for me.

Now, what to buy next ...
