They will look great.

Question.... is the Farish model discontinued?

I'd love a new one!  :hmmm:

Don't think you'll find a new one now, George. I had a quick look and there was just 1 on Ebay that was sold for £51.

Happy hunting.

Just seen TrevL's post so that may be an option! See https://railsofsheffield.com/search?searchTerm=DP1&page=1

Little known fact....

DP1 was fitted for push-pull working  :D

Ah, in that case it will need a rake of Push-Pullmans.  :P

It's on pre-order at Rails of Sheffield

I have not checked myself, but does anybody know if this is a 'new' model, or a just a 're-release'?
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.

My guess would be a straight re-release. The original was DCC ready and had directional running lights. I paid £89.50 for mine at the time

The product code almost matches my loco list that shows 372-920 and the Rails website states 372-921. Hattons quoting the same 'new' code.

I thought GF put an A suffix for reruns but perhaps that could be just for rolling stock.

The price has pretty much doubled since first release, my noted cost was £69.00.

Bargain now but suspect I had to be brave when I got it!

@daveg  I can't swear to it but, looking at my spreadsheet of stock, I believe they used the 'A' suffix for a renumber/livery change - something not possible with DP1

Just looked at 2 GF Stanier coaches with the same code but with A & B suffixes:

Vestibule First Corridor 374-846A carries number M 1066 M

Vestibule First Corridor 374-846B numbered M 1052 M

so once again young sire, it would seem you are correct.

It's OK Mick, he has an appointment with Spec Savers booked.
