a Kato Pocket Line 10-502-2 Mini Convex Blue Freight Train for my Kato Unitram layout.

I would be interested in your opinion of this small loco as I have been considering it as a future purchase  :hmmm:

cheers John.

Hi John,
The Kato Pocket Line 10-502-2 Mini Convex Blue Freight Train consists of the locomotive with Blue plastic body and black chassis fitted with a metal pantograph plus a black plastic open freight wagon and black plastic open fright wagon with brake cab all fitted with metal wheels. The locomotive is excellent and runs well on my Kato Unitrack and Unitram track. The whole makes a good representation of a permanent way maintenance train for my tramway layout. I bought mine from top slots 'n' trains at www.topslotsntrains.com . The chassis is the Kato 11-103 4 wheel tram chassis which I have bought for a future project to fit under an appropriate tram body when I find one.
I would recommend this set.
Regards,
Alex

Nothing physical for the as-yet-still-not-started layout, but I did get 5 years membership of the Bluebell Railway, which I was very pleased with. :)

Belated Christmas wishes to you all, and all the best for 2014.

mr bachmann

father christmas kindly left a pair of bachmann FA units in B & O livery nice runners - ready chipped , but i;m glad i got the B & O ones as they arn't a patch on the kato F units , and the santa fe livery would have shown them up , also of note the backy ones  arn't modeled on the prototype -
