They say bad things occur in threes so things should improve for you, I hope.

Probably just as well I can't afford it- dread to think what the insurance would be.

Probably cost you more to rust proof it for this country than it would to insure!

My mums old fiat 128 resembled a lace curtain by the time she got rid of it! the handbook actually advised using the old sump oil as underseal!  :(

Sat here all morning expecting a phone call from my GPs breath nurse to see where we go from here.
Been a nightmare week with chaotic sleep pattern/hacking cough
Now have zero mojo, zero stamina, zero interest.
Defiantly  a very bad week  :veryangry:

Know exactly how you feel Jon , currently waking up at around 0400 hrs after sleeping for about 4 hours and peak flow around 180/200.  Doctor won't do anything until I have had my scans to see if they can do anything other than giving me steroids again with side effects that causing other problems.  Come on NHS sort it out because I feel absolutely  :censored:

Practice nurse phoned up about 12-30 and I bent her ear quite heavily. :unimpressed: Entered her panic mode and got an instant appointment with GP on Monday morning instead of having to wait till next month.

The nearest hospital to me is Chorley and, yeah, they are closing the A & E department as they can't get the staff to run it. It will only re-open when the staffing levels have been attained. The next 'nearest' is Preston and that is a pig to get to/park at.
In the meantime my GP is open Monday, Tuesday morning, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday morning.
Tuesday afternoon they have staff training and Thursday morning you can only see the vampirephlebotomist.
Is it any wonder people head for A & E when they can't see their GP? :unimpressed:

The same in this part of the world. Having seen my GP in February, I was phoned by the cardiology department in our local hospital to tell me that I had an appointment in November, there was no date earlier than this. A friend of mine who has a non working valve amongst other things has to wait until December.
You know you're getting older when your mind makes commitments your body can't meet.
