Title: Peco Turntable
Post by: cupoftea on May 09, 2011, 05:51:20 PM
Hello All

I am after a little bit of advice about a peco turntable....

After considering an era change for my layout I am thinking about getting a turntable but none of our local shops have one so I cannot have sight of one before I buy it and was wondering if, as standard, the peco one has the facility to supply power to the section of track on the turntable? Also what are the dimensions of the turntable?

Thanks for your help.

Yep, there are sprung brass plungers on the bottom of the table and two semi-circular washers in the pit (all concealed beneath the table) to transfer power to the track on the turntable. The diameter of the pit is 6", and I havn't found a british loco that won't fit on it.
