Tonight, I have mostly been . . . painting staples

Paul

Can you do the one in Preston while you're at it - it's looking shabby :-X

Sprintex

That particular overpriced stationery retailer wasn't present in the UK until 1992, so a bit late for my layout ;)

So the answer's no :P

It has got to be asked, why the heck are you painting staples?   ???

Having had 24 staples in my hip operation wound, I just didn't want to ask

Rejigging the electrics on the board I have just replaced the trackwork on... Have to resite the main plug and tagboard to clear a space under a point for the PM-1 to sit. Second attempt, as the first place I moved it to was out of reach of the linking cable!

Just wanted to watch some trains go round so did some mindless platesting whilst hoovering my belly button :D
108/101/24/40/4MT and BR green railcar all ran faultlessly

Can't let this one go without a question

What on earth could have got in there that needed such drastic action? Some static grass fibers? A couple of N gauge people that had become dislodged as your faultlessly running trains rushed through the station, or some pink ballast perhaps? ;)

???  Sprintex, do you mean they were the wrong colour before you painted them, or after  :confused2:? And yes, I need this information - it's keeping me awake worrying  - why do you need to paint staples  :uneasy:? I mean, it's not high on most people's "to do" list but seems to occupy the top position on yours for some reason. :confused1:
Is this some new thing we all should be doing on our layouts? :worried: Or just some private fetish of your own? ::)
I think as fellow members we have the right, and the need, for DETAILS please!

It's very simple, Mike.

 You mean you put lint on your fish and chips instead of salt? :confused2:
