and my hairy beast doesn't enjoy them anything like as much.
Have you tried him on deer antler?
P.A.H. (other retailers are available) sell them, and my boxer, and my son's boxer and shah pei, all love 'em.
Cheers, Trev.

many thanks, I might try that.

I've tended to buy a joint on the bone for a casserole, cut and dice the meat, then give him the uncooked bone to gnaw at.
keeps him quiet for ages  :smiley-laughing:

Flamin' dog owners!

David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

Your dog is welcome to the ones from the feral bloody deer that trashed our front garden recently.

They're a major PEST where I live.

I remember years ago we used to feed our shepherds on breast of lamb, which was cheap as chips, and meal, which was basically broken dog biscuits.

haven't been able to get meal for years, only 'mixer', and as for breast of lamb, far too expensive these days to feed to the beast.
