ST-44/45 dilemma

Hi all, I've tried to get the ST-44/45 curved points to align with 2nd/3rd radius curves but there seems to be a problem with them joining, are they not designed to join together? The Peco packaging shows them connected together, using 2 B curves and an A small straight, they don't seem to align with the other track. Thanks.

it was a post 4 years which led to an interesting discussion

but trial and error when i laid my track seeing what would fit !!!!

The inclusion of the straight between the two points appears to be crucial in keeping everything lined up.

The link I posted above shows a curve between the points rather than a straight. Is the diagram wrong? :uneasy:
