Sade - Diamond Life.  My original 1983 vinyl copy.  Mint condition and the disc I take with me if I want to know if a mates system is any good or not.  Played through my combo of Ariston Deck, Ortofon Cartridge, Yamaha amp and big, old Wharfdales it sounds....

Good, very good.

Mrs talisman and I raided the cheapo racks in HMV this afternoon - among the captures was 'The Very Best of the Moody Blues' and 'Retrospectacle - The Supertramp Anthology'. Have been annoying the kids by playing them v.loud as we go back to the 60s and 70s...

I found an ELO CD in the works van last week.  Loving it and I forgot they did all those other recognisable tunes!  My younger colleague wasn't so taken.
