Thanks very much! Anyone got any idea on the prototype it's based on?

Based very loosely on the Farish GP tank, which itself is based very loosely on the LMS Jinty.

The Shredded wheat locos are circa early 1990s.

Cheers,
Alan

So as not to deviate from the original post any further, I have posted some info' regarding the Shredded Wheat train -

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Just seen this thread as a newbie
no one has mentioned using a time machine to look back at www.thefarishshed.com:-[

Well here you go

Start here and click on the date you want to go back to.

Trouble is that the wayback machine doesn't index the whole site, so you get random snapshots of different pages, but navigation is virtually impossible.

This is a resource I have used in the past so was disappointed that it has closed. Wordpress appear to have been the original host. However I Googled "The Farish Shed" and came up with this:
http://www.artesaniadaisy.com/

which appears to be a ghost or attempt to revive the old site however there is not much behind the menus.
If it's just the funding aspect, I'm sure a few bob here and there could be arranged.
