I think you meant 'wag' but am uncertain.
At least Farish do speak sometimes. Anyone know the latest on Dapol's Bulleid light pacific or Gaugemasters class 73?
If so, maybe you could let Dapol and Gaugemaster know please?

Perhaps it was a typo. Could have meant "You are away............................with the Fairies".  :P
She who must be obeyed says I am spending too much time on this forum. I love her dearly but what does she know?

On any other day you may be correct, however, not on this occasion.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Didn't know Nobby was a wife or girlfriend!
Is the Farish 8F a totally new version? I have an old one, but it couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding.
KISS = Keep it simple stupid

Newportnobby

Totally new.
I have one of the old 5 pole motor ones and it hauls at least 30 Peco coal wagons on the flat. I must admit I've not tried more.

steve836

I wanted scale length trains. OK I'm limited to 35 plus brake as that's the most I can fit in the passing loop. My Union Mills 3F and 7F will walk away with it, but ny Farish 8F just sits there with the wheels going round.
Over the roof-top line on which Cromford is situated the limit higher up where the inclines start in earnest was 48 for an 8F without a banker.

It'll be interesting to see what sort of haulage capacity it has although I, too, am limited by the size of my loops. Hope we don't see comments like those levelled at the Castle :uneasy:
Heavy goods locos should be capable of doing the job.

Ted

Bagged myself a trio of Revolution trains TTA unbranded wagons. They're brilliant!

Just call me Ted, or Edward... or Ed.

Just not Eddie.

Order arrived from Hattons yesterday as well(in addition to my US items)

Noticed those Revolution wagons in the previous post...they look sharp! Might have to see what they have.

Philip.

Resisted for about 30 seconds  :smiley-laughing: a bargain from Rails

I've bored Facebook with this, so I'll do it here too! My Mercig reworked 37 arrived Today. Truly a thing of beauty!

RailGooner

Sss-weeee-t! But I'm not bored yet, perhaps a few dozen more pics might do it. Nah, it's just not gonna happen!

emjaybee

I'm not one for diseasels, but I do and can appreciate fine workmanship. Nice looking model.

Anyone bought one of the new Farish split headcode Class 40s yet?  Wondering what it is like?  Made well?  Runs well?  Etc.

Kind regards
