Two Dapol 156s added to my collection because the prototypes were assembled in Birmingham, my place of birth.

Today I traded in various stock at Rails and bought a Dapol 2D-001-005 33/0 33020 in blue and Farish 374-760 Mk2f FO in blue/grey

At last I own a classic banger blue 21st century standard class 33 loco in the form which I remember during my youth in the Portsmouth area.
The Mk2f will eventually form part of a short air-con set.

Been trying to get my hands on a BR blue Western region HST for the past few years now but the eye-watering second-hand prices put me off. Brand new one arrived today courtesy of Rails.

Pleasingly, the rooves match the Mk3 trailers I already have.

Here's a video of my Revolution HOA's, delayed by COVID and a Farish Colas CL70.

Being a complete numpty, I didn't realise until this arrived that they have a switch on the bottom to turn off the tail lights when hauling a train, I've had a Freightliner one for quite a while.

I don't know, you wait months and months for train and then 4 show up at once  :D

My Revolution KUA's arrived today, so I formed a complete train with my two new Farish MK2A escort coaches. I've had the coaches since Christmas but they haven't been out of the box. Both coaches had a front axle misaligned in the bogie, but that was a simple fix.

So here's a pic of my new MOD Nuclear flask train, ignore the 68's cos they aren't new.

Not having done anything to my layouts or bought any N gauge for a few months I thought I'd treat myself to a rake of the latest Farish Mk2F coaches. Hopefully I'll have a bit more time & enthusiasm in the winter months to run some trains & do some jobs on the layouts

Got these secondhand as a job lot today. A$80 (roughly 44 quid)

The catalogue was a surprise; he found it between me agreeing to buy the rolling stock last week and picking it up this morning. It's from '94, and in some ways is cooler than the stuff I actually bought.

I had that catalogue, it might have even come with my first train set.

I think it was Warley 2011 or so when I saw Copenhagen Fields, the 2mm layout that is on the cover  :D
