Just been reading the news.

FLICKR are/have changed their terms and conditions and are/will be deleting a HUGE amount of photos unless you  SUBSCRIBE annually.

I don't use it, but I know some on here do, please be aware.

Good Luck.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

----------------------------------------------------------

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Ah well. Having changed to flickr from someone else who started to charge I'll stopusing them.
If it is true it would be nice if they bother to email users.
I'll get round to fixing it drekkly me 'ansome.

It seems that the first 1000 photos are free.
Ionly use it for posting to the forum and I'm on 60 photos at the mo so I'll be ok for a while.
I'll get round to fixing it drekkly me 'ansome.

Yup, that's how I knew about it. It was also displayed on the site fairly prominently.

FWIW I went "pro" as I have well over 1,000 photos and find it genuinely useful both for hosting my photos for various forums, and the large repository of interesting railway-related photos on there.

Sadly the forum is littered with photos deleted by Photobucket when folks didn't pay their fees. The links were just deleted by Photobucket :(
