ah your modelling the old route of the midland Pullman as described ......https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/midland-pullman-route.24802/. And .... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester,_Buxton,_Matlock_and_Midland_Junction_Railway. And here    https://www.peakrail.co.uk/our-railway/historyofline/. No car trains ran via wcml. More probably limestone traffic, aggregates, cement, farming stuff

It was my 64th birthday yesterday, and I bought myself a little present - A weathered 64xx! here is a picture of it on test, running into Tremierten with a weathered auto trailer

I would have posted earlier, but I got a little side tracked celebrating with the family.

Regards,

Alex

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Hi,

Just bought the Lowlander Caledonian Sleeper from Revolution.

Here's what it will look like running on my layout.

Sorry about the glare from the CL92 headlamps   :bounce:

Latest arrivals on Peterhampton Junction have wheels at any rate even if they're not locomotives... two B-T Models vehicles, and one Scenecraft one. The difference in scale between the two manufacturers is painfully apparent when the models are side by side, but I figured there was little chance of a green, National Bus liveried, Bristol VR from anyone else now and I was aware of that issue before I bought them. Quick question - the Southdown Atlantean has some minor scuff marks on the doors side; any suggestions as to how I might best get rid of these? The rest of the model is fine...

Take a can opener to it and make her an open top tour bus??

Stick her under a low bridge with the Southdown wrecker trying to haul it out??

:D

Nice looking buses though

Another one of these:

To go alongside the other 3x class 108's and 8x class 101's and 6x class 121's and 4x class 122's. Not sure I need so many class 101's though..............

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

A love of grocers apostrophes too, it would seem ;)

Certainly makes me feel better about having six 350s!

Latest haul is a load of bauxite, some Oxford, a Railfreight 20 and a KRM case.

The Oxford diecast mini is the most ridiculous thing ever, it's tiny!  :smiley-laughing:

Just call me Ted, or Edward... or Ed.

Just not Eddie.
