Umm that's tricky for the RFO. I think I need the roof of my early model Pullman as I think it also has tables and chairs. Probably explains why Bachman left out the interiors as difficult tooling.
That brings me to the FO, can you help out with a description from the same source?
Kind regards from Fred.

Diagram 36 covers the Open First described by the OP and Farish as an RFO. Which Open First are you referring to (do you have the running number)?

Ive checked my Farish coaches as follows, all date to about 2005 china build on Poole basis?

1/. RFO Crim/cream  running no W8 - no interior
2/. RFO Choc/cream  running no W7 - no interior
3/. FO Crim/cream  running no M13062 - no interior
4/. FO Choc/cream  running no –yet to find and buy
5/. RU Crim/cream  running no –yet to find and buy
6/. RU Choc/cream  running no W1902 - no interior

Interestingly I have Choc/cream RMB W1814 with an interior which I might use for a silicone mould for part of the second class restaurant seats.

If you can steer me to what seating design layout I need for coaches nos 1, 3 & 6 above i'll have a go at artworks.
Kind regards from Fred

'1 and 2 RFO' Diagram 36 per my reply #14 on previous page.
'3 FO' is in fact a Diagram 116 FK - 7 compartments of 3-a-side seating.
'6 RU' is a Diagram 23 RU - apart from the kitchen/pantry the seating is 2+1 at tables with individual seats. The '2' side of the aisle is on the same side as the kitchen/pantry. 6 seating bays on the '2' side, with a seat missing on the '2' side at the end of the coach to allow for access to the gangway to the next coach. 5 seating bays on the '1' side, with a space opposite the 6th '2' bay to allow access to the side corridor past the kitchen/pantry.

EDIT
The above description fo the RU may be a little hard to understand, so I've done a simple diagram to illustrate, in the absence of being able to scan and post copyrighted material...

S= Seat, T= Table, P= Pantry, K= Kitchen

Incidentally, I have the 374-121 RU Maroon W1917, which is a Diagram 29 RU but it has a Diagram 23 interior. If it wasn't for the wires representing the water filler pipes I would have taken the roof off and photographed it...

Thank you. I'm going to Derby Mickleover Club tonight, I'll see if that book is in our Library! Question, where your notes have S above S is that a bench seat or two armchairs?

Each S is an individual chair.

The RMB's always had seating as Bachmann used the Farish (Poole) moulding. The full size RMB however is derived from a TSO and has standard TSO 2+2 seats.  Except for the second batch of RF's all other MK1 Catering Vehicles had loose individual seats.

Most Mk1 seating plans are shown in Parkins book.
