My favourite band from the 70s, used to love seeing how outrageous they would be on Top Of The Pops, my dad hated them, I still love them now.

RIP Steve Priest

Certainly a result of that era! They did alright for themselves, though.

I still reckon Ballroom Blitz is a hoot. At about the time that was out, there was a real one in the working man's club in the village where I was born!

Thankfully it was on a rare night I wasn't there  :uneasy:
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

supposedly based on  the sweet getting bottled of stage in  kilmarnock due to the rock fans being a bit shocked   by there girly glam looks.Cant listen to blockbuster without thinking off the mac lads song that used the tune, with words about  a chubby chap.
freedom of speech is but a  fallacy.it dosnt exist here

Their singles always went down a storm when I ran discos in the 70s.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

And the man at the back said, "Everyone attack" And it turned into a ballroom blitz. And the girl in the corner said, "Boy, I wanna warn ya it'll turn into a ballroom blitz". Ballroom blitz, da-da-da-da, da, da, da-da. Ballroom blitz, da-da-da-da, da, da, da-da.

A timeless classic. Still rocks today.

RIP Steve Priest

I was in Evesham at the start of the 70s. My disco on a Tuesday at the club went down A storm. Then moved to Reading followed by Birmingham, so never up your way George.
