Title: Unusual uses of Model rail equipment...
Post by: 4x2 on January 03, 2012, 02:43:42 PM
Just out of interest... What other uses have you found for model equipment ?

The reason i ask is because my neice decided uncle mike should have a foam glider for christmas (aww....!). After a few flights, it started to break and little lucy was quite upset... So i glued a spare bit of n rail along the length of it, and now it flies even better !

Anyone else got a similar story ?

Sounds a bit awful, but i had a 2ft length 'cut-off' of peco flexi track, which I use as a back scratcher ::)

Not model railways, but I once used part of an Airfix Bristol Beaufighter TFX to fix a laptop.

I once used a Farish 0-6-0 J94 loco to chuck at a Cane Toad in the back yard.

Hit or Miss? What was worse off toad or train? You've gotta tell the story now, you've got me intrigued?
