Dapol Hall vs. Grange

Hello.
I was checking Dapol Hall and Grange locomotives.
From an aesthetic point of view, I was not able to see any difference between these two classes. Are there any ? If yes, which ones ?

The prototypes only differ in the size of their driving wheels. The Grange has slightly smaller driving wheels when compared to the Hall (5'8" cf. 6'). The Hall is 1 ton heavier.

The small driving wheels gave the Grange a higher tractive effort (they could pull heavier trains), but a lower maximum speed.

I can only report what my 1964 Observer's Book of Railway Locomotives says and:-

Grange weight 114 tons
Hall weight 122½ tons

Grange water capacity 3500 gallons
Hall water capacity 4000 gallons

The footplate/running plate has a different shape - it has to accommodate the cylinders.

If you are thinking of purchasing one, make sure it has the Hall 4000 gal tender as that is the only version of the Grange that Dapol make that works properly (see many other threads for why)
