My graphics card is not working after connecting it to my printer. I visited https://LINK REMOVED/ for suggestion but did not find any.

How were you connecting your graphics card to your printer?? Normally you have a dedicated printer port to connect a printer?
:beers:
Sounds like an ancient computer and possibly ancient printer?
More info required!
Welcome to the NGF, by the way. :beers:
I bet he is using the term Graphics card to mean memory card from his camera.
Bit odd that he has joined a model rail forum to make his first post about a graphics card problem.
When I say 'he' obviously other options are available ;)

Good recovery considering the user name.
I suspect they may have stumbled into the wrong forum, or in desperation are trying anyone that may be able to help.

Yep, 100% spam.
Glad I didn't click on the link then!!
How exciting! I think this is the 2nd person ever to register and spam the forum. :D
Thanks for reporting. User deleted.
Watch out they are like oxford die cast busses, you are waiting for one then 20 arrive
LOL, I thought that request was odd. I've worked in tech support in the past and I'd never heard of anyone plugging a printer into a graphics card and I did see some really strange things...
Unfortunately Tank, I think Paul-H might be right, once they've found a target it'll probably keep coming.

Very old (MS_DOS) PCs used to use Hercules Graphics Cards, which had both a video output and a parallel (LPT) printer port on them. Those have been gone for 20+ years though!
Oddly enough I once took out an HGC to put in an combined HGC/EGA card that had no printer port. I plugged the printer into another available LPT port, but it wouldn't work. Swapped cards back, ok, swapped again, stopped working. It turned out that one core of the ribbon cable was snapped and the different positions of the two ports meant that it made contact an worked when in one position, but failed in the other! It took me a while to work that one out.
How very exciting!
I reckon it's someone from RMweb feeling threatened by such an awesome forum.

Yeah actually now you mention it, I did see graphics cards for 386/486 motherboards with parallel ports, think I also saw them with mouse ports! That was at home though, when I used to get to play with family cast-off computers.
Seeing them in the workplace... :uneasy:, that may have been before my time... :-[
