Having seen the review of the R Parker car kits in this month's NGS Journal I've just ordered a few from the N'Tastic Shop. They seem ideal for my layout. Not overfiddly kits and a really good selection of pre-war vehicles.

I purchased about 30 of their kits last year, mainly transit vans.  Excellent quality and detail on the vans and easy to paint too.  I'm hoping they come out with some 70's & 80's cars/vans at some point. In fact I'm hoping anybody does.

Thank you I have posted them so you may get them tomorrow.

The 1930's one I ordered are now painted and assembled, a couple are already on the diorama I'm entering in the AMMC tomorrow. Quite satisfied, have to get some more and try a bit of mix 'n match, don't want too many the same on a 1930s layout.
Cheers MIKE

Interesting range of vehicles, what material is used for them ?
Plastic ? Resin? Metal?

They are white metal, mostly in two parts; body and chassis with seats. Glazing is formed from clear plastic.

Thanks for info JCMJCM, might try some out.

Does the Rover P6 still exist I have not seen it listed in the N'Tastic Shops site

Mine arrived in the post this morning. They do look rather good too. Unfortunately will have to wait until later next week to have a bash at painting them, but assembly looks like it'll be pretty straightforward after that.

The way the lorry kits typically have their chassis separate from the body is pretty handy too. Lots of potential for kit bashing and modification.

Took a couple of shots of the 2 ton van so you can see what the kits come like (the NGS Journal shots only show completed kits). I think if I'd realised how straightforward these kits were and what range there is I would probably have bought some much earlier :)

fitted together (not glued yet and without the glazing in)

Unfortunately the Rover P6 is no longer available. At least it wasn't when I enquired last year while buying my other vehicles. I just hope they expand their range because these are great vehicles.

I will ask about 2 that are on the journal list that I have not seen before, when I order stock tomorrow.
