Since my op I have had horribly swollen feet such that the the only thing I could wear were some sloppy slippers - most embarrassing when you have to go out anywhere. Luckily yesterday morning I managed to cram said feet into a pair of trainers (having altered the lines of the laces) before I saw my GP about water retention tablets and she decided against the tablets (anyone who has taken them will know why I was much relieved). Huzzah - another small victory, especially on the sartorial elegance front :D

Glad to hear it, Mick. I know it's slow coming, but I'm very glad you're on the mend :) Hopefully that swelling will keep coming down naturally :)

Frequently !
Yes been there done that, got put on them 'as a precaution' but when there was no sign of swelling etc I took myself off them as a precaution against the in- convenience,
but sorry to hear of your need for sartorial disarray :(

Swollen feet better that a swollen head, I guess

Best wishes for further speedy recovery from all here at Chez Squid.

I'm still on them, for at least 4 hours of the morning, I'm like a mobile version of the Trevi fountain  :'(

I'm not allowed to iron anything for the next 3-4 weeks, David, so have to prevail upon sisters/Mum.
I'm dreading receiving their respective bills :worried:

Are you sure it's not the previous night's Guiness Paul ?

Best regards,

Ah, well, me talking of N gauge sound would not be in the happy thread

It's the bass, you see. Not enough bass.
