Hi Alex, your picture of the hover-fly on the Thisle is excellent due to it's detail and clarity. Brilliant. I car'nt wait to see some of your latest train pictures, (your NRM pictures were great, do you have any more photos of Mallard that you could share please?)

Cracking photos!

I went digital back in 2002. Bought a Fujifilm 6900zoom. Cost over £600!  :o
6x zoom and 6mp. Good for its time. Cant even buy the Smartmedia card it takes now!  :smiley-laughing:
Still have it but now use a little GE E1055W. Has a 28mm wide angle lens, 5x zoom and is 10.1 mp. Fits in my pocket, brilliant!
Before digital I had a 35mm SLR. OK, it was only a Praktika, had a Zenit before that, but I took some good photos.
Even went down the B&W route and developed my own. Thank god for digital. No more chemicals and dark rooms!  :smiley-laughing:
Personal motto: You don't have to be mad to be a modeller, but I find it helps!
