Multi-million dollar US house but with something interesting

click on the 3D tour walk forward and turn left and it's an amazing giant model railway room you can enjoy a walk around.

What an awful house. Awesome railway room though.

Yes, that's an impressive model railway railroad.

I'll take 4.35 mil for a quick sale if of interest?

Great modelling, but incredibly cluttered as are too many US layouts.  Blame this man: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Armstrong_(model_railroader) and his book, Track Planning for Realistic Operation.  Also this layout: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorre_%26_Daphetid

Oh, I don't know... my own layout was heavily influenced by US practices in that the line snakes around going to places.

The Gorre and Daphetid was certainly a classic. Shame it burned down.

Gorre and daphetid--i first heard of that in the late 60's.
i used to be indecisive...but now i'm not so sure.

I love the property. Not a fan of the layout - I'll have to replace it with a modern Western mainline inspired one.

I think it's about time the NGF had a 'Clubhouse'.

If the NGF has approximately 4,000 active participants, if we each chip in £900, then we've got a Clubhouse with accommodation, cooking facilities, the works. I can't see a downside.

If it helps, I'm willing to be a live in caretaker for the property for six months of the year. I'm sure others would be happy to also 'caretake'.
