Oh No!! why did you post this Poliss!!!  :)

I remember going down to Maudy's our local sweet shop for 2Oz of sweets every Sunday afternoon... and now I'm going to have to introduce my 4yr old daughter to the joys of pear drops and the like :)  .. my wife is going to kill me! :) :) .. I'll get her some licorice to placate her I think  ;D

When  i  stopped smoking they said i'd save money not with a site like this   ;D ;D ;D

After a search i  found a place who  stock  confectionary  with a mention   of Maltona drops  in the google result have mailed them to see if they stock  them   fingers crossed  :thumbsup:

Retro sweet shop opened up here not too long ago with the big glass jars etc...great stuff.
And don't get me started about shrimps  ;D

Here in Australia Woolworth's is one of our major food stores. And there's lots of em O.T. worthers original :)

Hi  Dave,     

Welll i had open heart surgery last year &  nobodies  mentioned not eating sweets to me   ::) i   dont mind  dark   chocolate prefer to milk    ;)

Hi  Dave,

So many of us with heart problems Nick, I had a 3.5cm hole repaired and later 2 stents fitted and SWMBO had a heart attack six weeks ago and is now like me on a cocktail of pills to keep her going.

What I miss most of all is Licorice Allsorts and Jelly Beans.
