Another band from my youth that I never saw were the Moody  Blues but I was pretty heavily into their music and had several of their early albums.
Question, from the fine Question of Balance LP, is one of my favourite tracks.
I do find the Moodies work a bit dated now but still listen to it from time to time :

Not my sort of music I'm afraid @Grassyfield but Spotify recommends George Jones as similar so here's a YouTube link :

Beth Hart has done some good work with the likes of Jeff Beck and Joe Bonamassa but that rendition of "whole Lotta Love" is a bit OTT to say the least and the band aren't top notch either but I thought I would throw it in.

Martin @port perran I first heard John Cameron on the Wowie Zowie sampler, so here he is with that track from 1969...

NB Danny Thompson on double bass. John has achieved a lot in the musical world, from pop to film soundtracks and musicals. I will now listen to (old) Fleetwood Mac but I thought they made a good pop act!

Cheers,

Tim

I do too. Getting it out of the pouch to get into the car is more effort than just pressing the button on the fob. The keyless entry is therefore of no use whatsoever and simply makes cars less secure. If I was buying a car new, I'd be asking if it was possible to disable the keyless function.

Well Tim @Moonglum not sure about Beth Hart I'm afraid but that John Cameron track is intetesting stuff from Joan Osborn Mick @Newportnobby . She's not an artist I'm familiar with so I'll investigate further on Spotify.

Returning to my teenage years, it is with great regret that I never saw Fleetwood Mac live.
Then Play On was, to me, an influential album and one of the first I ever bought.
Here's Man of the World, not from that album but a superb song :

Fleetwood Mac completely died for me in the mid 70s when they relocated to the US and became a pop group.

when I covered a shift in the guardroom, you were expected to answer the phone within x 5 rings....
"Main Guardroom, Cpl Jenkins, Sir"
if you didn't you would find yourself being 'advised' by your sgt.
same when I worked on security, answer the phone within x 5 rings

why is it now acceptable to have to wait for ages, after call answered by 'computer', before you get to speak to a human to solve your problem ?

nothing to do with reducing staff / costs of course  :veryangry:

customer service ?

not in my book.
