Quote from: Grassyfield on December 25, 2023, 11:24:19 AMIv finished it. Been almost 24 hours so im thinking should be ok to move around now even though its says 24-48 hours utill its completely hard. I tried using self driving screws at first, and yeah all i can say is self driving my ass in regards to these particular screws i was sweating so much trying to get them in the wood. Any way quickly made pilot holes as quick as i could and got the screws in, although they are not completely flat with the surface.

Out of curiosity, what brand of 'self driving' screws did you use?

Were you driving in by hand or with electric screwdriver?

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Very powerful electric drill that plugs in to wall. Screws were Zenith self drill screws, galvanized. https://www.bunnings.co.nz/zenith-timber-csk-head-10g-x-50mm-14pk-galvanised-screw_p2410080?store=9477&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA7aSsBhCiARIsALFvovw-2mYxzdDU0Wn1coukt2K3RdcbQVgWXAAAqFc0F8tOfxrF772PYOEaAp4TEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

edit - maybe the wood i used was harder then usual, i think its treated maybe.
