1) What does the word Ukulele mean?
Ukulele is Hawaiian for 'flea dance'.

2) What's the difference between a fiddle and a violin?
They are the same thing. A violin it is pressed up under the chin but fiddle players press it against their shoulder.

3) What did a Tea Man sell?
He sold just about anything except tea.

4) What's the difference between a peddler and a hawker?
A peddler sells wares from a tray or suitcase. A hawker has a hand cart of horse drawn cart.

5) What does a costermonger sell?
A costermonger sells fruit and veg.

6) What are 'oignons rosés de Roscoff'?
Oignons rosés de Roscoff are Breton pink onions.

7) Who invented the ice cream cone?
They were invented by a Mr.Hamwi who ran out of dishes and rolled some of his pastries into cones.
