I was following his thread when he was building the garage. Just astonishing work.

The tractor is up to standard and the degree of detail is wonderful at the scale he is doing.

Yes, Danbury mint sell all that kitsch stuff.  Would not have occirred to me to look there for something to model. Having said that they do some aeroplanes, that might be wortha secong look now.

OK, I'm going to take up cross stitch as, until the later posts, I was certain that the tractor was 1:1 scale!

The only slight thing that threw me was that the wording on the sign behind it seemed to be reversed so I assumed that it was a negative/slide of the real thing that had been scanned the wrong way around.

However, major credit to the modeller concerned and 'note to self':- must try harder!
