A new feature - Country Flags, has been added to the forum.  This lets users go into their Profile and select which country they are from.  I thought this would be good as we have a worldwide community.

The ones that are internationally recognised as the legal flags.  :D  Luckily, everyone on here so far is from a country with a 'stable' government.  It's only the UK government we need to worry about. :smiley-laughing:

By whom - there is no official globally accepted set of flags (or even country names, or even countries)

I have fun memories of all this when dealing with products shipped globally. The Chinese threatened to ban the product if Taiwanese flags appeared in it and several other countries distributors made it plain that various other flags were going to be a problem. In the end we didn't include flags - it was just too painful

And some people think HO v OO is bad 8)

By me!

We could get into all sorts of arguments.  I'm sure there will be the odd member on here who takes it to the extreme of not recognising the Kosovan flag because they're Serbian, not recognising the Israeli flag because they're Iranian.....endless! ;) :D

In the absence of a Dorset flag I've gone for ENGLAND, right now it's time for

;D  Yep, Countries only I'm afraid.

Hmmm... that would be the English flag for me too, but then I live in the US.  Do people want to know where I'm from or where I am??? :-\

I would have thought it would be where you are, as that would make sense if people want to contact you and wonder why you're only online at night or something (extreme I know, but that's true of ex-pats in Oz)!!!

Mustermark

I shall make it so.  I wouldn't want to upset the system and be the odd one out!

Booo  :(
