Most of my kits are designed for use with Tomytec chassis, which are not ideal due to the bogie wheelbase.

EMU have been powered using Farish 150, so I see no reason why the Farish 101/108 chassis could not be used for 57ft designs.

It's all a matter of cost vs convenience vs ease vs compromise.
