Does any one know the name of the font on the photograph below please? (That's the font on the shop wall, not the road signs  :)). I have spent some time searching - the font does not appear to be loaded into my laptop and I can not find anything similar on the net.  Thank you for any information any one can provide.

It's probably not a proprietary font, may well have been designed by some local graphic designer.

I can explain it to you...

@emjaybee  That is what I suspected, but -

@PaulCheffus  One of those sites wanted €39  (:o) to download what looked to be a very similar font. However, by looking at some other sites, (inspired by your reply), I have found what appears to be the exact font I am looking for - 'Victorian Std'.

So  :thankyousign: to you both

(I have always said that this forum was the font of all knowledge  ;)).

Hi Dannyboy,

If you are happy to accept a compromise then on my Windows 10 PC the Forte and/or Ravie fonts are similar.

Hope this helps.

Edit: Sorry just saw your post above - well done.

Thanks for that @Paddy, having looked at the two you mentioned plus some others, I think the 'Victorian Std' is as near as I am going to get.  :beers:
