Plastic wrapper

Does anyone know what the plastic wrapper / film is that manufacturers such as Grafar use to wrap their locomotives in their boxes? If so, where can I obtain some?

Want to use it around locos in my foam lined transport boxes to assist with their safe removal. I find that very occasionally a delicate piece gets snagged. My dodgy digits need all the help they can get.

Having had the same problem I just cut up some clear poly bags such that I can lift stock out of my JB boxes using the ends of the poly

I wondered the same thing a couple of years ago, but ended up just cutting up some thin film from those cheap A4 see-through filing pockets.

I've actually come across instances where the manufacturer's film has either absorbed lubricant and/or started to disintegrate anyway so I binned it and used the filing pocket film instead. I think it was from recent Arnold sets I bought second hand.

I believe it is a type of polyurethane plastic (pu). I remember this question being asked before.
Where to purchase it from

I've found in some cases the material used by Farish leaches out some form of yellowish gunge so am replacing that wherever I find it.
