As a bit of a change today, Easter Saturday lunch with three Bealettes and GrandBealette at a little Italian joint in the middle of the local steelworks!

Not that you'd ever realise it looking at the view!



Mrs B shows GrandBealette the view:


Mrs B and Bealette One had snapper complete with head, looks disgusting but was apparently ok...



I had pizza, but it was the first time I've had pizza with potato on it 



GrandBealette was happy with spaghetti.



Bit of a change for Bealman, but definitely thumbs up. Back to the bus stop soon!

Hi George,

Happy Easter to you and your family as well. Have seen a Pizza con Patate in Rome once. I didn't have it but apparently it's very nice although I think the potatoes are supposed to be of a certain type, very thinly sliced, arranged in a swerve curved pattern and baked crispy, not just boiled new potatoes plonked on  .

Maybe the chef's got Irish blood  .

Thought I'd show a couple of pics of where the beach area on my new revamp layout will be as it means I can see my local bus stop every day from where I sit .

I was hoping that next door's Forsythia in bloom would make a nice photo but think with my camera phone photography skills it looks like your UFOs have popped round the planet to blow it up!!!  .....

Talking of bus stops, I was browsing in my local bookstore by the station, and to my utter lack of surprise because this is Japan, found two volumes of a series books listing each bus stop in Japan.
