Thanks! Just a shame lunch wasn't at the local club round the corner - a roast and veg for 10 bucks. Much better than the almost inedible crap we had, and a third the price.

Unfortunately, during the years when Bealette worked for the NSW ombudsman, she lived at Bondi Beach so is used to trendoid.

Give me the $10 roast dinner any day!  ;)

Dynamite Valley, eh? I wouldn't call what we had at this boutique brewery Dynamite! But at least it didn't taste like perfume like much of the stuff you get at these places does.

Unfortunately it was served in thimbles! So why am I smiling?

Because it beats hospital!

I haven't seen your thumbs but if that's a thimble then I don't want to either

Well, at least they seem to fill the glasses right up, or is it a trick of the light?
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Yeah, it's full, but as you can see, there's not much head on it. I just don't like trendoid boutique beers.

Not the bus stop, but a local station (Dapto). A Kiama-bound train from Sydney pulls out.
