As you know, the entire winning bid will go to ForumFunds.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.

Hello Chums

Poppy and I have received a bid of £115.00 for the EE 'Type 4' 1Co-Co1 diesel-electric locomotive.  Which means we are now glad to invite bids of £120.00.

We pay the postage to a UK address.  Therefore the entire realisation from the auction will go to ForumFunds.

Hello Chums

Poppy here again.  I'm taking a moment out of my hectic schedule to let you know that we have received a BrilliantBid of £120.00 for the 2,000hp diesel electric locomotive.  John and I are now inviting bids of £125.00 for this engaging engine.

I've told John that we'll cough up for the postage to a UK address, so all the lovely lolly raised by our auction will go to ForumFunds.

Hello Chums

Poppy says it was that picturingham of her that did it, but we are in the thoroughly agreeable position of having received a bid of £125.00 for the marvellous model of D211 Mauretania.  How SuperSpiffing is that?

Therefore, we are glad to now invite bids of £130.00.

You know the rest, but I'll say it anyway as it's what the thread is all about.  The recent upgrade to our FabulousForum required @Tank to reach right down to the bottom of the pockets of his Oxford bags.  Therefore, it would be jolly good if we can help out by directing some delightful dosh his way.

We'll pay the postage, so all the lovely lolly realised from the auction will go to ForumFunds.  Given that a EE 'Type 4' weighs 133 tons (if I remember correctly), I suspect it will be a 1/- stamp that's required.

Hello Chums

Going, Going,, GONE!

D211 Mauretania has sold for £125.00, all of which will go to ForumFunds.

Poppy and I wish to thank everyone who placed a bid in our little auction.  Also, as the primary purpose was to help raise awareness that @Tank has spent a considerable sum on the uprades to our FabulousForum, thank you very much to everyone who looked at our auction thread - 11,884 'views' the last time I checked.  And thank you to everyone who either commented or left 'reactions' - your encouragement has been much appreciated.

Special thanks to Chris, the technical team and our MarvellousModerators for giving up so much of their valuable time so that we can enjoy ourselves discussing our TinyTrains.

Congratulations to the successful bidder - we hope you enjoy the locomotive.
