'Tis my craven desire to run first generation DMUs...

A kit-or-scratchbuilt attempt at a Class 105 by person or persons unknown, looks pretty good to me, albeit unmotorised so if at all will be hauled by a loco simulating a failed unit.

Looks good.  You could also run it in multiple with another DMU. Or just the power car from a Class 101 or 108 if you have one.

True, I have a blue 108 which would match nicely.

Does two new Dogs count as Locomotives or Rolling stock?

Check them carefully for signs of scales, if so they may be dogfish.

Nothing new and amazing, just an old Minitrix 27 to bring back memories of running British N in my youth, before I went all foreign  :D

Box is a little tired, but is complete with service sheet and control number, best of all the actual loco is mint, doesn't look like it's run much if at all. Wheels shiny new just as the day it was made. Tested and smooth as silk.  For £22 inc. postage I'm a happy bunny!

At a show in Accrington today I picked up this for £22 cash (Hattons want £22.91 + postage).....

Big bad John

Nice one Mick. You can't beat that feeling getting a bargain gives you.

Thanks, John. I've actually wanted one for ages but this price/availability just couldn't be resisted :)

I must admit my loco and rolling stock purchases so far this year can be counted on less than the number of fingers on both hands.

Yesterday I attended the Morley model railway show, then visited the nearby Millennium Models shop where I bought a solitary used Poole Farish dummy class 101 DMC.
This adds to the pool of spares for my Poole Farish Met-Cams and will be pressed into service as a substitute for a NSE-liveried class 101 version to ring the changes.
