Chilling out with a couple of 'Enigma' CDs playing a little loudly to (a) drown out the wind outside and my aerial flapping around like a flappy thing in a flap and (b) to annoy my annoying, noisy next door neighbours :nerner:

Bealman

Talking of neighbours, I'm listening to next door's lawnmower.

One thing's certain.... they won't hear mine!
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

'Enigma' CDs
The German lot, or the English ones,
or Elgar's Variations ?
I prefer the latter but I fear it would take some kilowatts to make my neighbours aware :)

Interesting ! Thank you, I had not expected whispered sidereal rotation messages !!
(only taken 5 mins so far but it warrants a longer listen :) )

If you are into planets rotations Goldilocks zones (insert apo.' thingy of choice) etc. then todays APOD may be of interest:-
it reviews Kepler's exoplanet finds so far

I've worked out how to make my car hifi read playlists, so I now have a Christmas playlist.

I just plug my iPod into the USB port and listen to playlists from that :)

Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Yes Simon I've got that album and probably most of Jo Bonamassa's albums. I really like rock guitar music but not so much the heavy metal stuff. Another favourite is Eric Clapton.
Have a listen to Matt Schofield - he's a Jazz/rock guitarist and singer. His guitar playing is incredible. Imagine someone singing for 10 minutes without taking a breath - that's how he plays guitar - no pauses to work out what he's going to do next - its like running water. Amazing
:beers:

If anyone remembers the BBC series 'The Edge of Darkness', I'm listening to the 12" 45rpm soundtrack by Eric Clapton and Michael Kamen - spooky stuff :)
