Ah yes - the soaring voice of Maddy Prior (with a bloodthirsty tale)
They dont make them like that any more :(

bloodthirsty tales in the plural !
"You will burn" :-
Then one night as you sleep in your goose feather bed
We will be standing at your bedside
Your bones will be broken and your blood will be shed
Your eyes will be taken and your hands will be tied

Then we'll take you to the forest
Where none will hear your cry

etc!

and "The Black Freighter"
shiver m'timbers :)

then ther's "Twa Corbies"

oh too many, too many,,
those were the days,
now they are all over the 'tube !

Malc

A poignant song of war by a group I've just discovered.

And an old favourite from a popular local group that I've seen many times.

The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Sorry, Malc, but I prefer the Davey Arthur and the Fureys version of 'Green Fields of France' :P

Just as I was getting to like you too  ::).

So I've got little hope of finding support amongst the members here for the Andrews Sisters, Ivy Benson (and her all girl band) or the Ink Spots then?  :-\

What I can't understand is that you seem happy to place the word 'decent' in the same sentence as Bros, Bewitched and the Saturdays :confused1:
I would check that sanity certificate you got from your doctor, Paul :laugh3:
