The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

I have Spooky's greatest hits and it is on there. I like this version from Frank Zappa's T & B tour.

Gun's new album, "Frantic"... my copy signed by the band and with my name in the booklet!

Probably not on YouTube yet as it only came out on Monday but well worth checking out.

Currently stuffing my face at TGI Friday's at the O2 - Paloma Faith will be belting some songs out in an hour or two :)

Ok... it's very rarely that I post here, yet alone look at it. Now I know why. Spooky Tooth, you old tragics. Gawd help us all.  ;)

But then I see Sprintex's post about Paloma Faith on the same day I got a pic sent to me of the concert from me mate in Cambridge who was there.

Who the heck are they then? Obviously some local Southern band. Should  have stayed two nights in the pub with the combo toilet, eh Paul.  :D

Paloma Faith? Not so much a "they", more a "she" ;)

Just released her third album, incredibly powerful voice and vocal range, and won Best Female Artist at this year's Brit Awards  Here's a link to the official Youtube channel:-

. . . and this was her Brit Award performance that shows her voice off to the full  8)

There seem to be many instantly forgettable female singers around at the moment, but to me Paloma stands out a mile as supremely talented and she's a genuinely nice person too :)

On a sunny but cool and windy NSW morning, I've decided to come clean, Malc and NPN....

I have a couple of Spooky Tooth albums lurking in a box somewhere

Just started going through the LP collection and getting back into the Quo, after seeing the frantic four in Glasgow last year.  The guys still have what it takes, really enjoyed it.

Sorry Guys but when I want to chill out its Rumer  she is just brilliant , but when we're in the car Quo go on because you can't hear RUMER above the road noise, Val and me also like listening to the Mavericks and we love Glenn Miller that's why we called our son Glenn, quite a varied collection of tastes in music.
