I'm in no rush to get my hair cut. I used to be of the Dmitri Mendeleev school of thought - he reputedly had his hair cut once a year. Nowadays, I tend to go twice a year if only so that the barber can reassure me I've still got some. September should be soon enough...

Cheers,

Chris

luckily no.2 daughter trained as a hairdresser, so a regular no.2  is all I need.

sod 'styles' just mow the lawn, saves on shampoo, keeps me cooler, and I can remember my hat size  :smiley-laughing:

Happy to say I last visited a barbers in 1985ish.  Regular No1's since then done by SWMBO armed with a set of Wahl cutters.  Two things with male pattern baldness, you save on shampoo, but you use more soap 'cos your face is twice as big :'(
Cheers, Trev.

not, in any way, influenced by the fact that Wahl cutters come with Wahl oil, which is great for track cleaning ?  >:D :smiley-laughing:

Really?  I wasn't aware of that, must give it a try, I've got quite a few small bottles of it.

My wife decided I needed a hair trim so decided she would do it for me. Hopefully, as am high risk, the lockdown will go on long enough for it to grow out.
High risk from what?  Covid or the wife's scissors..

I bought a set of Wahl clippers and different sized "combs" last week. All over number 6, reducing numbers to taper the back, tapered combs for around the ears and no comb for trimming here and there. Pertly done by my wife and partly by myself and ... success! I visited my parents today and they thought I'd been to the barbers.

I also did two of my sons' hair - the third decided to stay with his mop ... and not because of the results with the first two.

My wife managed to get an appointment to have her hair done this Tuesday.

I read Steve's comment a short while ago and nearly choked on my coffee!  (Imagination working overtime ;)).
